cheshire police hq demolition

I've previously taken some photos of the old Cheshire Police HQ. It was vacated sometimes in 2004, as the HQ moved to Winsford, in the middle of Cheshire. In September 2006, demolition of the old HQ began, to make way for a new development by Liberty PLC. I work just down the road from the old Cheshire Police HQ, so have been taking some photos of the demolition. It's a surreal sight - seeing this old, huge building which has become part of the Chester skyline being chewed up and spat out by huge diggers with their mechanical jaws.
