An alternative title: inside looking out...

After taking too many photos of it from the ground, I had chance to do the same from inside one of the 'pods'.

The ride (or flight, as it's called) lasted about 30 minutes. In that time I took about 75 photos - some of them are here. Lots weren't that great.

If I ever go on it again though, I'll try to take fewer photos and spend a bit more time looking at the view. It was an incredible experience though.

Notes: This looks a bit abstract - the big white rings are the rooves of two cafes that are behind the London Eye. The flowery things in the bottom-right are chairs and tables. And running up the left hand side, if you look carefully, are lots and lots of snaking barriers, where the crowds have to stand and wait for their ride. The big feet at the bottom are the huge legs supporting the London Eye
