All of these photos were taken in a garden in August 2004. No exotic location required - just some flowers, insects, old doors, light and that's about it.
Notes: Waspish moss, or mossish wasp. The wasp is so clear and sharp and shiny it almost looks like a toy, except it isn't, since it's alive, or was alive when I took the photos
Notes: Macro flower innards. Each one of those central tubes is actually a whole flower, this being a photo of a type of flower called a 'compositae', though I don't know the species of the flower.
