Hills, they're pretty photogenic really aren't they? All my hills are from the UK. I know some of them are really mountains, but I've lumped them all together as hills. After I graduated I wanted to be a countryside Ranger, and spent 3 months volunteering for Scottish Natural Heritage, to get some experience.
I spent a wonderful summer walking up mountains in the Creag Meagaidh National Nature Reserve, counting deer, mending fences, fixing paths... It was such a beautiful place to work. At one point, I remember walking up to the top of Creag Meagaidh (about 1,400 metres) on a perfectly clear summer's morning in August. I was at the top by 8am and thought, well, I am so lucky here. The rest of the UK is starting to commute to work, and here I am up a mountain. That was before I came to my senses and realised I'd be much happier working in an office for the rest of my life!
