What, more cards?
After many years of running an ecard site, which allows people to send electronic cards via the internet, we thought it would be fun to try our hand at selling real, physical paper cards. Cards that you can hold, and write on, cards that a real, and made of card. Cards that can be sent in the post, cards that can be received by real people, through real doors, and read by real eyes! Cards, O! people, that can be sellotaped to desks, fridges, dashboards and foreheads. Cards that do not reside exclusively in the digital domain. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the time has come, when you can buy jimpix cards, in a delightful range of colours, tones, shapes and sizes.
What's so special about these cards?
Jimpix ecards has been running since about 2001. Over the years, tens of thousands of electronic cards have sped through cyberspace. With the advent of the digital camera, we have amassed a range of photos and hand-drawn pictures (doodles) which we thought would lend themselves to appearing on real printed cards, for use as gifts, and postcards, and well, who knows, any sort of card for that matter. We think they're good, but of course, we are biased aren't we? We don't get too excited about cheesy cards - be they cheesy ecards, or cheesy printed cards. You will find no soft-focus kittens, sickly-slippery verses, flowery rhymes or dotingly romantic odes. Just nice photos and pictures, in a range of different formats.
